Found in Taiwan on tree trunks in forests, Bulbophyllum electrinum var. calvum is a minature orchid that is easy to grow. It likes warm temperature and therefore blooms in the summer. The plant and the flower size is about 2" and 3/4", respectively. When blooming, it has 4 - 8 narrow, elongated, needle-like flowers, which make it attractive and distinct from other orchids.
