Macodes Sanderiana is a rare yet famous orchid species from Borneo. It likes warm and humid climate, and therefore its blooming season starts from spring to fall. 
 
When blooming, it has reddish-bronze flowers with a white lip. What truly makes Macodes sanderiana stand out is its special patterns on the leaves rather than the flowers. The leaves are mostly dark green (depends on the light level) with gold or silver veins coming from the center on young leaves (like lightning bolt). Due to this fascinating leaf pattern and vein color, Macodes Sanderiana is also named Jewel Orchid, and has become a very popular home decor plant.
 
Give you Jewel Orchid high humidity environment by watering it 1 - 2 times a day during hot season. Display in an indirect sunlight location.
