Samurai Orchid, Fuukiran
Neofinetia Falcata originally grows in forest. Thus, give it medium shaded light and avoid direct sunlight.
Mist every 2-3 days with distilled water and rainwater only, making sure the moss is moist at all times.
During winter, reduce the water amount but avoid completely drying out. Watering your plant in the middle of the day is recommended.
Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.
If the humidity is too low, please grow the plant in a pot, which helps to keep moisture levels at an adequate level.
Neofinetia Falcata is a cool-warm grower. The recommended temperatures are 65-80°F during the day and 55-70°F at night; Keep it above 50ºF during the cold season.
Use ¼ strength of orchid fertilizer once a week from April to September.
Neofinetia Falcata flowers in summer generally from June to July under care.
Hisui produces green flowers while Amami Island produces white ones.
